The grand opening ceremony of the Embassy of Union of Myanmar in Thailand was held on 3rd August 2017. It was attended by U Kyaw Tin, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Mr. Virasakdi Futrakul, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, Directors-General and senior officials from the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand, Ambassadors and representatives from the Embassies based in Bangkok and distinguished guests.
On this occasion, Mr. James Duan, Chief Executive Officer of Fragrant Property Public Company Limited who responsible for the construction of the Myanmar embassy received a souvenir from H.E. U Myo Myint Than, Myanmar Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand
